Processing stays in your browser. Uses PBKDF2-SHA-256 with 310,000 iterations, a random salt and nonce, and authenticated encryption. Keep your passphrase: it cannot be recovered. The JSON envelope is specific to this tool.
How to use the aes encryption
Encrypt or decrypt text with password-derived AES-256-GCM. Complete the text or encrypted envelope, passphrase, operation fields above, or upload a UTF-8 text file for the first field. Choose Run tool, review the output, then copy or download the result.
