IPv4 Subnet Calculator
Calculate network, mask, broadcast, and host ranges from IPv4 CIDR notation.
Processing stays in your browser. /31 uses point-to-point addressing; /32 represents a single host.
How to use the ipv4 subnet calculator
Enter an IPv4 address followed by a slash and CIDR prefix from 0 to 32. The result includes the network, subnet mask, wildcard mask, broadcast, address count, and usable host range.
Example
192.168.1.42/24 has network 192.168.1.0, mask 255.255.255.0, and a usual host range of 192.168.1.1 through 192.168.1.254.
Good to know
A /31 is treated as a point-to-point link with two host addresses under RFC 3021. A /32 represents one host. Provider policies and reserved address ranges still apply.
