How to use the word counter
Use the live counts while drafting an article, product description, or social post. The character count includes spaces and punctuation; reading time assumes about 200 words per minute.
Example
Paste a draft into the box. A 600-word article will show an estimated three-minute read.
Good to know
Check both word and character counts when a platform has a strict limit. The sentence estimate uses punctuation and may differ for abbreviations.
