PDF Metadata Editor
Read and edit a PDF's title, author, subject, and keyword fields.
Choose a PDF from your device
Your PDF stays in your browser. Keep the original and check the downloaded copy. Changing these fields does not remove embedded files, hidden content, or all metadata.
How to use the pdf metadata editor
Upload a PDF to read its basic document information. Edit title, author, subject, and comma-separated keywords, then preview the PDF and choose Download result to save a copy. A blank field clears that basic information field.
Example
Replace an internal draft title with Annual Report and set the author to your organization before distributing the PDF.
Good to know
This edits basic PDF information fields, not every metadata format. It does not sanitize hidden text, attachments, or embedded XMP metadata. Metadata is separate from the visible page content.
